Innovation Park Mainz – a member of InnoNet HealthEconomy e.V

Networking is an essential means of generating continuous development, growth and contacts. The exchange of knowledge, resources and skills creates added value and can create future-oriented visions. Furthermore, a strong network is a suitable instrument for forming and growing partnerships or collaborations. Communicating with each other expands our understanding of the market and industry and helps promote innovative thoughts or ideas.

For these reasons, the company behind the InnovationLabz project has decided to become a member of InnoNet HealthEconomy e.V. The association is a service platform for the health industry in Rhineland-Palatinate under the patronage of Economics Minister Daniela Schmitt.

The goal: to make cross-industry collaboration innovative, practical and future-proof. In addition, young business ideas and models are supported and provided with advice. InnoNet HealthEconomy e.V. focus groups worked on various topic areas; such as digital health, oncology, strengthening practices in Rhineland-Palatinate and the Diabetes Alliance Rhineland-Palatinate network. A considerable spectrum with a large number of actors has emerged here and is continually growing. The overarching goal was to develop the city of Mainz into a leading location for biotechnology and life sciences.

The goals and visions of the association result in optimal synergies and overlaps with the laboratory and office buildings in the Mainz Innovation Park, which are being built by J. Molitor Immobilien, IGM Immobilien Gesellschaft Mainz and G.L. Kayser real estate can be realized. The project developers have been active in the areas of health, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology for several years. One of the most recent project developments in this asset class is the new German headquarters of the Danish pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk on Kisselberg in Mainz. Novo Nordisk is also a member of InnoNet HealthEconomy e.V.

The network in and around Mainz is constantly growing. No wonder that companies like LifeCare and LigniLabs have already secured space in the new laboratory and office buildings in the Mainz Innovation Park.
