The leisure-based concept devised by the regional investors is drawing notable anchor tenants to Mainz. Most recently, the Berlin-based hotel group tristar and the Mannheim-based Engelhorn Group have secured space in the LU: complex. Work has already begun on the first construction phase.

The foundation stone laying ceremony was held on 12 September.

Many members of the public are also regularly using the LU: container on Bischofsplatz to get an idea of the progress of the archaeological excavations.
