Milestone in our “InnovationLabz” project in Mainz

The building permit for LAB 2, our next laboratory building on the new Mainz biotech site, has been issued! This marks the beginning of the next phase of this pioneering project. While archaeologists will be examining the site for prehistoric relics in the coming months, we will begin planning the work for LAB 2. At the same time, discussions are already underway with prospective tenants from the biotech and life sciences sectors. New building – new offers

LAB 2, like our LAB 1, will offer large laboratory and office space for rent. The new building also expands our offering: In addition to individually planned and permanently rented areas, we are also developing flexible work areas and coworking spaces with communal areas on the approximately 9,000 m². This creates the perfect setting for scientific exchange and a real campus feeling. Our sustainable equipment and pioneering building technology provide an ideal basis for innovative research. Our buildings are supplied with energy in an environmentally friendly way using photovoltaic systems, among other things. The integrated energy supply through geothermal energy (geothermal energy) enables environmentally friendly heating and passive cooling of the areas using concrete core activation.
