During a tour of the construction site with the Mainz Green Party district association, project developer Tim Gem\u00fcnden explained the sophisticated building concept of LAB 1. The new Mainz laboratory building scores points with a PV facade, wood fiber insulation, energy generation via geothermal energy and green roofs, among other things.
